Problem
Small bathroom - has no separated area
between wet zone and dry zone. Not only in
Thailand but also in Singapore, Hong Kong,
Japan and Southeast Asia countries.

Research
Each year 1/3 of Thai elders have slip and
fall accident. Half of them have slip and
fall accident more than once a year.

From the statistics, The indoor fall accidents occur frequently especially in
the bathroom.
After the fall accident, 40% has a broken
hip and 20% suffers from a serious injury
to death.

Competitor Analysis - Positioning Map
According to the market survey, there are
none of the elderly bath chairs which have
a small size and can divide into both wet
zones and dry zones within the same ones.
Therefore allowing us to see that gap of this
product and became Duo Seat.

After the interviews with elderly people and the consults with the doctor at Chulalongkorn Hospital, I concluded the requirements (which are daily use, easy-to-access and harmony) for this project before designing it.
